These contracting conditions regulate the commercial relationship between Cristalería Altea (hereinafter, «the company») and the client who acquires products or services through the website https://climalit.plus or by direct contact with the company. These conditions are understood without prejudice to the particular conditions that may be established in each individual contract or budget.


1. Proceso de compra y contratación

The process of contracting products and services is developed as follows:

  1. Solicitud de presupuesto: The client can request a quote through the website form, by email (info@cristaleriaaltea.com), by phone (965 842 231) or in person at our facilities at Av. Valencia 13, Altea.
  2. Visita técnica (si procede): For products that require installation (windows, enclosures, screens, etc.), a company technician will visit the client's home to take exact measurements and assess the installation conditions.
  3. Elaboración y envío del presupuesto: The company will prepare a detailed budget with the technical specifications, materials, delivery and installation times, and final price with VAT breakdown.
  4. Aceptación del presupuesto: The client must expressly accept the quote in writing (signature of the document, email or any means that leaves a record). Acceptance of the quote implies acceptance of these contracting conditions.
  5. Fabricación/preparación: Once the quote has been accepted and the corresponding deposit paid (if applicable), the manufacture or preparation of the order will begin.
  6. Entrega e instalación: The delivery and installation date will be coordinated with the client. The client must verify the condition of the product at the time of receipt.

2. Precios e IVA

All prices shown in the budgets include the Value Added Tax (VAT) in force at the time of issue, unless expressly indicated otherwise. The VAT rate applicable to glass and installation products is currently 21%.

The prices indicated on the website are indicative and not binding. The final price will be the one shown in the budget accepted by the client. Cristalería Altea reserves the right to modify its rates at any time, although the changes will not affect budgets already accepted.


3. Métodos de pago

Cristalería Altea acepta los siguientes métodos de pago:

  • Transferencia bancaria: A la cuenta indicada en el presupuesto o factura.
  • Efectivo: En las instalaciones de la empresa (sujeto a los límites legales vigentes en materia de pagos en efectivo).
  • Tarjeta de crédito/débito: By physical POS in our facilities or virtual POS in the online store.
  • Financiación: Consultar condiciones de financiación disponibles para determinados proyectos.

La forma de pago habitual para proyectos de instalación es:

  • Señal del 50% a la aceptación del presupuesto.
  • 50% restante a la finalización de la instalación.

However, these conditions may vary depending on the type of project and the agreement reached between the parties, as specified in the corresponding budget.


4. Plazos de entrega

Estimated delivery times will be indicated in each quote and will depend on the nature of the product, the availability of materials, and the complexity of manufacturing. Usual deadlines are:

  • Vidrios a medida (corte y manipulado): 3 a 10 días laborables.
  • Ventanas y cerramientos de aluminio/PVC: 15 a 30 días laborables desde la confirmación de medidas definitivas.
  • Mamparas de baño: 10 a 20 días laborables.
  • Cerramientos de cristal (cortinas de cristal): 20 a 40 días laborables.
  • Productos especiales o bajo pedido: Según indicación en presupuesto.

The indicated deadlines are estimated and not binding. Cristalería Altea will inform the client of any significant delay. Delays arising from force majeure (shortage of materials, strikes, adverse weather conditions, etc.) will not generate the right to compensation.


5. Garantías

All products sold by Cristalería Altea are covered by the legal guarantee established in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, and its subsequent modifications, which establishes a guarantee period of three (3) years for products purchased from January 1, 2022.

Additionally, certain manufacturers and systems (Kömmerling, Cortizo, Guardian Glass, Saint-Gobain, etc.) offer their own commercial guarantees that are added to the legal guarantee. The specific conditions of each commercial guarantee will be provided to the client together with the product documentation.

La garantía no cubrirá:

  • Daños derivados de un uso inadecuado, negligente o contrario a las instrucciones de mantenimiento facilitadas.
  • Desgaste natural de los materiales por el uso ordinario.
  • Damage caused by handling, modification or repair carried out by unauthorized third parties.
  • Glass breakage due to impact, thermal stress caused by unforeseeable external factors or vandalism.

6. Derecho de desistimiento

In accordance with article 102 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 calendar days desde la recepción del producto, sin necesidad de justificación alguna.

However, in accordance with article 103 of the same regulation, the right of withdrawal no será aplicable en los siguientes supuestos:

  • Productos fabricados a medida or clearly personalized according to the consumer's specifications (glasses cut to size, windows manufactured according to specific dimensions, custom screens, etc.).
  • Products that, due to their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • Services completely executed when the execution has begun with the prior express consent of the consumer.

To exercise the right of withdrawal in cases where it is applicable, the client must communicate it in writing to info@cristaleriaaltea.com before the legal deadline expires, indicating their unequivocal will to withdraw from the contract.


7. Reclamaciones

If the customer is not satisfied with the product or service received, they can submit a claim through the following channels:

Cristalería Altea undertakes to respond to claims within a maximum period of 30 calendar days.

Likewise, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 524/2013, we inform you that the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
